On June 13 the International Union of Judicial Officers celebrates the World Day of Judicial Officer. The theme chosen by the Board of the UIHJ this year is: “The Judicial Officer Meets the Youth”.
Joining the activities of promoting the profession of judicial officer throughout the world, the Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia has organized lectures-discussions on the headline of the day with the Law faculties of universities.
The lecture at the Educational Complex of the Police of the Republic of Armenia was provided by Levon Balyan, Head of Inspection, Analytical and Auction Organization Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, Colonel of Justice. The lecture at Yerevan State University Law Faculty was provided by Gohar Mkrtchyan, Head of Legal Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, Major of Justice.
The speakers presented the students the nuances of the profession of judicial officer, its interesting peculiarities, the functions, role and significance of the Compulsory Enforcement Service in the system of state authorities.
Coming to the headline of the day, it was presented to the students that the Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia is a full member of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) since 2015.
The UIHJ, being an international non-governmental organisation, represents its member countries in international organisations and structures ensuring collaboration with national professional bodies, as well as assures enforcement of international treaties signed in the field of compulsory enforcement.
Established in 1952 and representing 90 member countries, the International Union of Judicial Officers promotes new ideas, projects, initiatives and programs that help to move forward and elevate in parallel with the independent status of judicial officer.
On the World Day of Judicial Officer, congratulatory letter was addressed also by Marc Schmitz, the President of the UIHJ.
The Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia is joining the celebration and congratulates all the employees of compulsory enforcement authorities of partner countries, wishing them good luck and new achievements in all aspects of life.
