Mihran Poghosyan – colonel of justice, chief compulsory enforcement officer of the RA – received today Mr Sulev Lääne – chancellor of the Chamber of Judicial Officers and Trustees in Bankruptcy of Estonia – and Mr Mati Kadak – vice-chairman of the Chamber of Judicial Officers and Trustees in Bankruptcy of Estonia.
The speakers discussed issues on collaboration development between the compulsory enforcement services of the two countries, in particular the issue of studying the relevant legislative field, using information technology, detecting the debtor’s property and of mechanisms for realisation.
Mihran Poghosyan emphasised that the RA JACES is interested in the Estonian progressive experience in introduction of new electronic management model. He mentioned that the Estonian experience is worth studying.
Sulev Lääne underscored Armenia’s experience in realising the debtor’s property through an electronic auction and said he would like to get detailed information on the organising of the auction.
The chancellor thanked the RA chief compulsory enforcement officer for the warm reception and in this context emphasised the importance of the international scientific-practical conference held in Armenia.
A memorandum of mutual understanding is intended to be signed in the near future between the Armenian and Estonian Compulsory Enforcement Services.
