An extended consultation was held today at the Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Justice Ministry of the RA with the participation of heads and deputy heads of the Service’s central body, subdivisions in Yerevan and marzes. Mihran Poghosyan, the RA Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer, Colonel of Justice, chaired the consultation.
The results of the JACES’s activity of the first half of 2011 were discussed and summarised during the consultation. In accordance with the agenda, reports on levy of funds, discontinuance and termination of enforcement proceedings were presented.
It was mentioned that as a result of the reforms the quality and efficiency of the Service’s activities were improved: in particular, the volume of levies and recoveries in the first half of 2011 exceeded the limit of AMD 6.8 billion.
An estimated 42,761 enforcement proceedings were instituted in the first half of the current year, as against 37,828 enforcement proceedings in the same period of 2010 with an increase of 113%.
Within a reporting period AMD 6,848,426,092 was levied and recovered to claimants under the instituted enforcement proceedings, as against AMD 5,530,391,967 levied and recovered in the same period of 2010. The increase made 123%, including AMD 1,098,112,313 levied for the state budget, as against AMD 649,366,178 of the previous year with an increase of 169%; AMD 4,166,769,491 for legal persons, as against AMD 3,054,872,519 of the previous year with an increase of 136%; AMD 867,064,361 for natural persons, as against AMD 754,761,263 of the previous year with an increase of 115%; AMD 716,479,927 for securing claims, as against AMD 1,071,392,007 of the previous year. An estimated 14,090 enforcement proceedings on non-property matters were instituted and processed. The increase in terminated and discontinued enforcement proceedings made 156%.
Summarising the consultation, Mihran Pohgosyan gave corresponding instructions for solving the raised issues.
